There are regular structured educational opportunities during your block many of which are delivered by our consultants. These are emailed out on a weekly basis by Dr Steve Sandys. The registrars and fellows are expected to attend these sessions.
Monday 07:30 – 08:00. The first Monday of each month there is a cardiac M&M held in the CICU seminar room/via MS teams chaired by Dr Omar Al-Azzawi
Tuesday 15:00 Consultant ICM teaching (CICU seminar room/MS teams). Details are emailed out weekly, presenter varies. Based on EACTA syllabus.
Wednesday 15:00 – Consultant echocardiography teaching (CICU seminar room/MS teams). Covers the syllabus of the common examination boards: EACTA, PTEeXAMS, BSE.
