In Southampton we run one of the biggest fellowship training programs in the UK with a complete ICM, anaesthesia & echo education package. Our alumni have gone on to take up consultant posts as cardiac anaesthetists in the UK and abroad.
Our consultants have knowledge of accreditation in all the echo exam pathways (BSE, PTEeXAM, EACTA, FICE). Many of our fellows get their perioperative TOE exams during their time with us.
